For 2026, FORM internship opportunities at Wray Ward include:

  • Brand & Creative Strategy

  • Copywriting

  • Digital Design

  • Graphic Design

  • Integrated Media

  • PR/Content/Social Media

The 2026 FORM internship application window is open December 1, 2025, through January 31, 2026. This highly competitive opportunity is dependent on the quality of your application.

“Every year, I hear from interns who almost didn’t apply because they weren’t sure they were qualified or felt they didn’t have what it takes. And yet here they are, hired and thriving, having stood out among nearly 500 applicants,” said LoriAnn Boyer, Wray Ward’s HR Executive Director. “I share this as a reminder to trust your skills and believe in yourself. You absolutely have every right to apply. You won’t know what’s possible until you try — so don’t talk yourself out of an opportunity that could shape your future and give you the summer internship of a lifetime.”

What was your FORM internship experience like?

Alyssa: Working on client projects and starting a group project from scratch was invaluable for my career. Collaborating on a nonprofit rebrand alongside eight other interns was a highlight, and getting close with the team over the summer made the experience even more meaningful. The mix of hands-on work and a strong culture, both inside and outside the office, added tremendous value.

FORMing Art in Communication

Annie Crockett: My Internship Story

Kyra: The internship gave me a real sense of how an agency works and how different teams contribute to a project. Learning directly from department heads and collaborating with interns across disciplines taught me to pair creativity with real-world goals, ensuring the work not only looks great but also achieves the client’s goals.

How did your FORM experience prepare you for the work you do now at Wray Ward?

Julia: The internship was challenging but full of growth for me. Working on a client campaign required collaboration across disciplines and adaptability while also giving me hands-on experience in social media, PR and content marketing. Shadowing a mentor, taking on projects independently and being part of a group of motivated interns helped me grow professionally and prepared me to step confidently into my current role.

Megan: My internship helped me apply the creative strategies I learned in advertising school to actual clients and projects. It gave me the confidence to step into a larger role, contribute to office culture and even take on one of our most exciting accounts on my own. Writing My Way Home

Megan Johnson: A FORM Internship Story

Alyssa: I didn’t realize it at the time, but as interns, we were given real responsibilities, working side by side with colleagues who had years of experience. The processes and ways of working I learned during that internship still guide me today, giving me a strong foundation to approach my full-time role with confidence.

What advice would you share with students considering FORM?

Kyra: For any role you apply to — whether creative, writing or anything in between — take time to curate your portfolio and cover letter. Even if it is primarily student work, choose the work that best reflects your abilities and present it in a clean, thoughtful way. Your portfolio is often the first impression, so make it count.

Kyra Arendt: Inspiration That Moves You

Megan: During the interview, be yourself. You will be meeting with people who may become your peers or mentor, so showing up authentically helps you and the team determine whether the culture is a good fit.

Annie: My most significant piece of advice is to start building relationships with people at Wray Ward. Having someone who knows your work and can advocate for you inside the building can make a real difference.

Pro Tip Checklist Before You Apply

The FORM internship program is very selective, so take this opportunity seriously. Here are a few things to consider when completing your application:

  • Give yourself plenty of time so you are not rushing at the last minute.

  • Double-check that your application materials reflect the role you are applying for.

  • Review your resume, cover letter and portfolio with fresh eyes, and make sure your resume or portfolio is actually attached to your application.

  • Confirm that every link you include works properly. Broken links or missing files can disqualify an application.

  • Step away for a moment, grab a coffee and review everything again.

  • Ask a friend to take a close look at your materials and give honest feedback.

  • Take a deep breath, give yourself a fist bump and hit submit — you’ve got this!
