Each copywriter at Wray Ward is expected to consistently deliver unexpected creative solutions. An agile mind, an outstanding command of the English language and a collaborative spirit are also mandatory.

In the wake of recent business wins in the financial and air filtration/ionization categories, Wray Ward has realized the need to add a specific type of copywriter with a “technical” designation.

In addition to the above-mentioned criteria, the Technical Copywriter will demonstrate a keen ability to digest and communicate all the intricate technical and/or scientific information necessary to promote the brands in our charge. The Technical Copywriter will have the guidance of our senior award-winning writers while also taking inspiration from teaming up with equally talented art directors and designers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Technical Copywriter

  • Work on a variety of trade and consumer accounts involving everything from print and broadcast to collateral, interactive and nontraditional media

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience minimum, writing for accounts in industries that are highly technical in nature – such as financial, pharmaceutical or technology-based

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university or college required

  • Agency experience preferred
