The Senior Data Engineer - Marketing Analytics is a new role and an integral member of the Connections department with a focus in the agency’s analytics offering.
The primary responsibility of this position will be to manage the agency’s data infrastructure practice spanning data ingestion, sanitation, management, and governance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Senior Data Engineer - Marketing Analytics
Manage and optimize the agency’s BigQuery data warehouse on the Google Cloud Platform
Build and streamline data ETL processes and operations
Clean and organize performance media data sources to provide timely and accurate data for reporting
Ensure uptime of data and optimize data availability performance
Create database schemas and database architecture
Additional Responsibilities as a Member of the Connections Team
Proactively identify and bring new approaches, vendors, and more to help grow and evolve the analytics practice
Assist in fostering a data-driven approach in the agency.

Qualifications
A minimum of 3-5 years of working and managing cloud based data warehouses
Experience building and maintaining ETL workflows and systems
Ability to ingest data from multiple data sources such as APIs, Cloud Storage Buckets, and JSON files
Experience preparing data for business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Google Data Studio
Proven record of merging multiple data sources to develop single sources of truths for reporting needs
Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time
Effective problem-solver and generator of creative, innovative
Bachelor’s degree
