The Paid Social Manager is responsible for the buying, implementation and daily optimization of paid social campaigns across all Wray Ward clients which includes all self-service and managed social platforms.

The Paid Social Manager will work closely with the media planners to ensure that campaign strategies are activated within social channels with excellence. The Paid Social Manager will also work with Creative, PR, Content Marketing, Project Management and Resourcing and Digital teams to ensure campaigns are implemented correctly and adhering to creative best practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Paid Social Manager

  • Own the buying, execution and optimization of paid campaigns across multiple social channels

  • Ensure campaign delivery, performance and client goals are being fulfilled as scheduled

  • Plan and manage allocated campaigns and their respective budgets, and implement new initiatives that exceed client KPIs

  • Optimize campaigns on a daily basis, and suggest creative changes when needed

  • Use social performance data to identify trends/patterns and innovation opportunities

  • Execute social testing, and pilot beta opportunities across clients

  • Communicate buying and creative best practices across multiple social channels. Work across Media, Creative and Project Management and Resourcing teams to ensure best practices are taken into account

  • Collaborate with Search team on keyword strategies (especially for Pinterest)

  • Assist the media planners with developing social strategies at different stages of the customer journey

  • Provide social budget recommendations to the Planning team based on targeting capabilities, audience sizes, etc.

  • Work with UX and Development teams to implement pixels on websites for tracking purposes

  • Deliver monthly client reports, verify data accuracy and provide analysis

  • Participate in campaign goal-setting exercises and deliver performance projections

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key paid social partners to nurture performance growth

  • Update Connections team on key platform updates and opportunities

  • Understand the client’s product and their marketing objectives and goals

  • Build media authorizations and insertion orders, steward the billing process, and actualize dollars on an ongoing basis

Additional Responsibilities as a Member of the Connections Team

  • Participate in social competitive audits and new business pitches when required

  • Identify target trends to build audience personas

  • Assist in training of internal teams and clients

  • Attend and actively participate in relevant team, agency and client meetings

  • Keep up with the latest trends in advertising, the home industry and other client-related industries

  • Be an active participant in idea generation, brainstorming and creative thinking

  • Be a positive, motivating member of the team

  • Research opportunities on emerging social platforms

  • Present with confidence and display ability to sell opportunities to internal teams and clients

  • Communicate in a clear, coherent and professional manner

  • Listen well and solve problems to achieve the most effective outcome for the client, team and agency

  • Develop strong relationships across the agency

  • Represent the team and Wray Ward in a positive manner in all endeavors

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a social buyer across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn

  • Understand paid social campaign management technology from implementation to daily management of optimization features

  • Experience and ability to perform data analysis skills and proficient Excel skills

  • Strong QA abilities with an eye for detail

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation

  • Demonstrate the ability to use paid social strategy to complement PR campaigns and meet business objectives

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at one time

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, demonstrating energy and passion for the work

  • Effective problem solver and generator of innovative solutions

  • Focused on delivering great work, no matter how big or small the project

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Bachelor’s degree
