The Paid Media Coordinator, also known as Direct Investments Coordinator (DIC) reports to the Performance Media and Investments, Associate Director, as part of the Performance Media and Investments team.

The primary role of the Paid Media Coordinator and/or DIC is to assist with the development of activation plans and the implementation of performance and brand building media campaigns, across integrated publishers, programmatic OTT, video streaming and native advertising.

The Paid Media Coordinator and/or DIC will have a basic level understanding of the capabilities of each of the OTT and video streaming programmatic channels and their technology platforms. The Paid Media Coordinator and/or DIC will be executing and reporting on client plans and results.

The Paid Media Coordinator and/or DIC will work closely with the Integrated Media Strategy team, Integrated Search team, Content Marketing team, Creative Directors, Client Business Directors and Project Managers, and the Measurement and Analytics team in all functions of the job – being a positive bridge across the agency and an active champion for the discipline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as Direct Investments Coordinator

  • Assist with direct publisher RFP processes, negotiations, special time parameters, value-added sponsorships and projections
  • Spearhead innovation across these channels and the client roster to drive campaign performance
  • Help develop cohesive activation plans and oversee the activation of these paid media campaigns
  • Actively demonstrate thought leadership to guide and advise our clients and fellow Wray Ward team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of clients’ businesses, competition and latest industry news and trends
  • Work with the Direct Investments Senior Managers (DISMs) to develop analytic reports and dashboards that monitor campaign outcomes and performance
  • Manage campaign progress and measurement process for assigned accounts across multiple campaigns; analyze performance trends and work with team to recommend optimization strategies and approaches
  • Communicate campaign progress to other team members, executives, and clients through active participation in the preparation and distribution of client performance reports and presentations
  • Support Client Business Directors with report explanations and campaign performance updates

Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience managing high-performance media activation plans, with an in-depth focus on OTT, streaming, native, and/or publisher direct relationships
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills; passion for details
  • Ability to balance multiple projects/clients and team leadership while prioritizing work with evolving and competing timelines, budgets and availabilities

  • Communicate clearly with team members, clients, vendors and partners regarding project objectives and deliverables
  • Solve challenges in a manner that achieves the most effective outcome for the client, team and agency
  • Maintain strong relationships across the agency and with clients
