The Motion Postproduction Coordinator plays a key role in the success of the Production and Motion teams.

The Motion Postproduction Coordinator (MPPC) will assist in the execution of scheduling, billing and coordinating for postproduction. The MPPC will also foster collaboration between Motion team members and other Wray Ward Creative disciplines, Client Engagement team members, and outside vendors.

Additionally, the MPPC will support the Motion team by executing project-specific activities such as “wrap out” and archiving of completed jobs, coordination of final asset delivery and maintaining all relevant production and postproduction documentation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Motion Postproduction Coordinator

  • Work directly with producers and/or Motion Creative Director to build schedules and maintain calendars for all postproduction projects. Proactively revise schedules as milestone dates change

  • Responsible for maintaining proper workflow of assets from shoot days to the arrival of the assets into postproduction (this includes gathering additional creative assets (scripts, logos, fonts, end cards, design assets, etc.) and packaging together for editor prior to beginning the edit process

  • Assist in the billing process, create and submit purchase orders and other essential billing management

  • Traffic and deliver final files to project managers, client business directors and external delivery resources and platforms

  • Manage and resource smaller postproduction asks, such as file conversions, logo updates to existing videos, etc.

  • Schedule meetings between various departments relating to the postproduction of projects, including edit sessions, review sessions and client viewings

  • Coordinate and schedule VO sessions

Additional Responsibilities as a Member of the Motion Team

  • Work with Motion Producer to maintain a proper postproduction schedule that remains on budget and delivers on time

  • Coordinate the final deliverables with Motion Producer and Motion Creative Director and maintain the library of final deliverables

  • Attend and actively participate in relevant team, agency and client meetings

  • Communicate with vendors such as music house, color studio, sound studio, freelance or contract editors and other creators

  • Communicate in a clear, coherent and professional manner

  • Conduct clear and candid communication with team members and vendor

  • Listen well and solve problems to achieve the most effective outcome for the client, team and agency

  • Develop strong relationships across the agency

  • Represent the team and Wray Ward in a positive manner in all endeavors


  • 3–5 years of experience in a video post-production environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects at a time

  • Must have knowledge of editing process and workflows, including knowledge of editing software

  • Excellent interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with all disciplines of the Wray Ward team

  • Must be team focused and work well with editors and designers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Working knowledge of Workfront, Adobe Premiere Pro, video file conversions and management software is a plus
