The Integrated Assistant Media Planner is responsible for supporting the development and management of strategic media plans across online and offline media for clients, in addition to research, measurement and budget tracking.
The Integrated Assistant Media Planner (IAMP) is responsible for monitoring media buys and working with activation teams to make optimization recommendations as appropriate.
Key responsibilities include leading the creation of innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives; presenting media plans and providing plan maintenance oversight, including the recommendation of objectives, strategies and campaign updates; analyzing metrics for campaign effectiveness; and leading the sharing of data and insights among relevant teams.
The IAMP will work closely with the Senior Planner, the Integrated Media Strategy team, the Performance Media and Investments team, the Insights team and the Analytics and Measurement team in all functions of the job — being a positive bridge across the agency and an active champion for the discipline.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Integrated Assistant Media Planner
Collaborate with team for plan development
Assist in the creation and presentation of media-specific documents such as media plans and measurement reports
Create and maintain media plan flowcharts and media budget details based on client’s various initiatives
Assist in competitive tracking or reporting
Track campaign pacing with Ad Ops and the Activation team
Assist in writing client docs and internal briefs for channel subject matter experts
Assist in management of day-to-day communication with internal teams
Develop proficiency in planning/research tools
Utilize syndicated planning tools to run reports and create RFIs and consideration sets
Work with Ad Ops and the Activation team to assist in trafficking and launching campaigns
Assist team in tracking/evaluating campaign effectiveness
Assist in the evaluation of media opportunities
Field incoming proposals/phone calls from site/sales representatives
Demonstrate multitasking ability by keeping multiple projects on track and structuring and executing work
Assist with audience target development
Client & Internal Support
Support team in preparing and delivering work to clients and colleagues
Manage internal/client status reports
Attend status meetings and, when appropriate, take and distribute relevant meeting notes
Assist in managing relationships with external client vendors
Participate and contribute in face-to-face client meetings as required
Engage with all work-related contacts in a professional and respectful manner
Possess a mature and professional business acumen in personal and written communications

Qualifications
1+ years of relevant media experience
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of trends and innovations in traditional and digital media
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask
Balanced ability to think analytically and creatively
Advanced computer skills (Google Suite and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
