The Digital Producer (DP) plays a significant role on both the Digital team and the Production and Resource team.

The DP holds primary responsibility for the overall success of every digital project produced by the agency. The DP will also be responsible for the successful collaboration of Digital team members with other Wray Ward creative disciplines, project managers and client business directors.

The DP must possess knowledge of all components of digital projects from information architecture to server deployment. The DP will leverage knowledge in digital design processes and modern web technologies to effectively communicate with vendors and staff and to properly estimate and manage project components. Additional responsibilities include facilitating the resourcing of creative personnel for all potential and assigned digital projects, documenting project requirements, participating in the quality assurance (QA) process and delivering digital ads to our agency AdOps personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with the PRD, creative directors, Client Engagement team members and the Digital team to determine scope and project requirements

  • Collaborate with project managers to create project estimates, with schedules vetted through the resource coordinator

  • Prioritize project tasks and manage independent deliverables of the project team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget

  • Oversee efficient development/production of digital projects by employing appropriate workflows

  • Participate in QA and testing efforts

  • Create, or help create, project documentation (e.g., Project Requirements Document, user stories, etc.)

  • Select, coordinate and manage efforts of outside vendors

  • Attend project management meetings and facilitate resolution of resourcing issues/schedule conflicts with Project Management team and PRD

  • Assist project manager’s adherence to job setup, project approvals, scheduling and time management

  • Deliver digital ads and other assets on schedule to agency AdOps personnel

  • Recommend process improvements and help establish best practices for digital projects

  • Be an effective advocate for the Production and Digital teams in supporting the creative process

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in digital production and/or digital project management

  • Agency experience preferred

  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university

  • Working knowledge of digital processes technologies and workflows

  • General understanding of creative skill sets needed for project completion

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Independent, self-motivated and solution-oriented

  • Desire to deliver "beyond the ask"
