Team will share insights and brand development direction in webinars for the American Institute of Architects and the Home Improvement Research Institute

Two leaders from home industry marketing firm Wray Ward will participate in webinars centered on branding and marketing at key home and building industry events in June. Leslie Gillock, vice president and director of insights, and Kent Panther, vice president and director of business development, will lend their expertise in brand building for the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Home Improvement Research Institute (HIRI).

Panther and Gillock, who together bring nearly 40 years of marketing experience in the home and building products categories, will speak about the unyielding power of brands as part of AIA’s Smarter Together Series. During the 2 p.m. ET June 3 session titled “Building and Remodeling Brand Relationships with Architects,” the team will detail strategies for constructing effective brand platforms designed to engage and resonate with architects in today’s market.

AIA is the nation’s leading organization for architectural thought leadership, and its Smarter Together Series is a starting point for bringing key players in the construction industry closer together. Wray Ward’s Gillock and Panther join speakers from Architectural Record, the Yale School of Architecture and others. Gillock, who launched Wray Ward’s in-house Insights team nearly 10 years, also will present as a guest speaker for the Home Improvement Research Institute on June 16 at 1 p.m. ET. In “Building and Remodeling Brands to Drive Growth,” Gillock will outline how to develop and prioritize meaningful marketing objectives, gain deeper audience understanding and differentiate a brand to meet customer needs. The webinar is open to both HIRI members and non-members at no charge.

The only nonprofit organization dedicated to home improvement research, HIRI empowers members with exclusive, ongoing home improvement data and information for making better business decisions. Members are the leading manufacturers, retailers and allied organizations in the home improvement industry. For more information, visit hiri.org.
