Charlotte marketing communications agency Wray Ward has hired Chris Workman as account lead and Michelle Pojasek as project management coordinator. Both will be part of the agency’s client engagement group.

Workman brings to his position more than 15 years of agency and corporate experience in retail, digital and sports marketing. He previously served in multiple account leadership roles for Lowe’s Companies at GMR Marketing and Momentum Worldwide. His experience includes strategic planning, concept creation, program development, implementation and measurement for retail events, trade and customer programs, multi-cultural initiatives, localized marketing programs and product/vendor programs. He also brings experience in sponsorship marketing, having managed Lowe’s partnership programs with Hendrick Motorsports, the NCAA and various theme parks.

Workman received his bachelor of science in marketing with a minor in management information systems and sports marketing from Miami University in Ohio.

Pojasek comes to Wray Ward from Clear Blue, Inc, where she gained experience managing the day-to-day activities of multiple client accounts and internal project teams. Her award-winning portfolio includes brand experience with Char-Broil, LiuGong Machinery, JanPak Inc. and Spiroflow Systems.

Pojasek attended Elon University, where she received her bachelor of arts in strategic communications and business administration. In her free time, she volunteers with Girls on the Run Charlotte.
