Franklin, Tenn. – Crescent Communities and Pearl Street Partners have named two builder partners for Lockwood Glen, their residential community nestled in the picturesque town of Franklin just 20 miles from the heart of Nashville. Mallard Homes and Regent Homes will offer 38 single-family homes and townhomes, representing phase four of the 220-acre, master planned community located along the newest section of Carothers Parkway.

“In Lockwood Glen, we’ve created a place where neighbors can easily come together in an idyllic setting just a short drive from the great city of Nashville,” said Keith Glenn, senior vice president for the Carolinas and Tennessee for Crescent’s residential group. “The builders we selected share our vision for this remarkable community, and we look forward to working with them on the next stage of the neighborhood.”

The Mallard Homes team has nearly 50 years of combined experience in real estate development and homebuilding. They will build 14 cottage-style homes with prices ranging from the high $300,000s to the mid-$400,000s. The homes will be alley-served with a rear-load garage. Several timeless architectural styles are available including Classic Revival, Carpenter Gothic, Federal, Craftsman, Four Square, French Country and Queen Anne. Several floor plans will offer two first-floor bedrooms. Several homes including the designer model home are now under construction; the model will be ready for tours early this summer, and homes will be available for move-in beginning in July and August.

Regent Homes is a locally owned and operated homebuilder committed to well-planned, walkable communities in highly desirable locations with an abundance of green spaces, amenities and sidewalks. An original builder partner of the Lockwood Glen community, Regent Homes will offer 24 upscale townhomes in this phase. Townhomes will have three bedrooms including first level owner’s suite, a bonus room, fenced courtyard and two-car detached garage. Perfect for all ages, the townhomes are designed in a Southern vernacular style, with porches and balconies on select homes. Prices range from the $340,000s to the $380,000s. Townhomes are now under construction, and the furnished model and first homes will be available this summer.

Amenities at Lockwood Glen are inspired by the natural landscape: sidewalks, trails, expansive fields, an 11-acre lake for fishing and canoeing, and 4,000 feet of frontage along the Harpeth River provide a variety of ways to enjoy the outdoors. In addition, planned amenities like resort-style swimming pools, a playground, pocket parks, walking trails and a lakeside pavilion will be added as the community grows.

Lockwood Glen is located in Franklin, a picturesque and charming area of Williamson County located south of downtown Nashville. The neighborhood is not far from historic downtown Franklin, where residents can enjoy coffee shops, bookstores and antique shops as they walk along brick sidewalks lined with Victorian architecture. Neighboring Cool Springs offers a variety of shopping and dining experiences along with over six million square feet of class A office space. Families with children will appreciate Williamson County’s highly-rated schools along with Franklin’s expansive parks system.

“Lockwood Glen is a place where families can bond and enjoy Franklin’s small-town American charm while still having access to the area’s numerous employment opportunities, great schools, shopping and dining,” said Khris Pascarella, principal of Pearl Street Partners. “The neighborhood’s natural amenities are virtually unmatched by any other development in Franklin, yet Cool Springs and Nashville are just a short drive away.”

Lockwood Glen is one of the first residential communities by Crescent in Tennessee. The company’s multifamily group is also active in development including Crescent Cool Springs in Cool Springs and Crescent Music Row in Nashville.
