60 Seconds Inside Charlotte’s Coolest Office

Agency News Inspiration

This post, published in October 2020, reflects the safety measures in place at the time. Wray Ward follows guidance from local and state agencies and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for COVID-19 safety. Our agency processes and guidelines are updated as needed.

When the doors to our new space opened, Charlotte Agenda founder and publisher Ted Williams suggested that Wray Ward may now have the coolest office in Charlotte.

Ted — I think you’re onto something. And, after working apart for so many months in what’s been an extraordinary year, I’m thrilled to welcome Wray Ward’s 106 smart, passionate and creative problem solvers home to 2317 Thrift Road. This office is designed for our people, our culture and the way we work, and I’m so proud of it. The 39,000-square-foot adaptive reuse and new construction brings the agency’s collaboration spaces and production studios under one roof, and it features multiple products from clients we’re glad to represent.

In these uncertain times, we’re keeping our people safe: The office includes 13 conference rooms with reduced occupancy limits, outdoor meeting spaces, protective barriers, venting skylights and a new air purification system. Staff are also coming into work on an A/B schedule.

With that said, we know you’ll understand why, out of concern for the safety of our employees, Wray Ward is currently limiting visitors to essential activity. Instead, we invite you in virtually. Until we can all be together again, I hope you enjoy this intimate tour of our new space.
