Wray Ward Adds Depth to PR/Content Team’s Social Media Skill Set

Wray Ward has added depth to its PR/Content team’s social media skill set with the hire of two new team members. Laureston Hawley and Courtney Reese join the team as PR/content account manager and PR/content account coordinator, respectively.

“Laureston and Courtney are great additions to our growing team, bringing a mix of experience that’s hallmarked by creative, hands-on social media management,” said Heather Tamol, public relations and content director at Wray Ward.

Hawley, who joins the team as PR/content account manager, brings a rich background in social media marketing to the team. She recently served as social media manager for Movement Mortgage, engaging with consumers and prospective employees through various social media platforms. A skilled writer, Hawley also was a social media community manager for a digital marketing agency in Richmond, Virginia, where she worked on brands including Verizon Fios and UNOS. Hawley is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and a minor in marketing.

Reese has been hired as PR/content account coordinator. She is a recent University of North Carolina at Charlotte graduate who took an internship with Charlotte-based Taylor after graduation that continued into a contract position. She worked on social media and media relations initiatives for the family of Diageo brands, including Captain Morgan, Crown Royal, Bulleit and George Dickel. A creative thinker, Reese brings hands-on experience in influencer marketing programs and creative social media initiatives on channels including Instagram and Snapchat.
