We’re looking for a social media expert to be part of our PR/Content team in a 100%-social media dedicated position. The position includes social media strategy, community management and content creation and publishing for all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn). Social media programs may be standalone or part of integrated marketing communications programs (influencer marketing, public relations, advertising), requiring the ability to collaborate with a team and integrate marketing objectives and creative campaigns into social media activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as Content Manager managing social media programs:

  • Work with the team lead to plan, define, complete and deliver the social media components of client projects on time and on budget
  • Set social media strategy that aligns with overall marketing communications goals
  • Create social media content calendars for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Schedule and publish content on native platforms and through scheduling tools
  • Engage with followers and fans in online communities
  • Manage reporting and measurement for client programs
  • Bring creative ideas and solutions to social media content and campaigns
  • Use software to conduct social media audits
  • Work closely in conjunction with Account Leads, Project Managers, Connections and Creative Teams and Directors to ensure an integrated program and seamless project workflow
  • Assist in overseeing coordination of project quality to ensure highest quality deliverables

Skills & Experience

  • At least two years of experience in an agency setting or similar environment
  • Ability to create and execute a strategic social media plan
  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day social media content and engage with audiences to grow brand, product or message awareness
  • Ability to manage social media measurement reports, interpret findings and adapt program for best results
  • Strong understanding of social media’s role in integrated marketing communications programs
  • Strong writing skills are mandatory with ability to write for all social media platforms
  • Good presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Sprout, Hootsuite and Simply Measured a plus
