Marketing communications agency Wray Ward has grown its video content development team, hiring Lewis Dameron as video content developer and Griffin Glaze, formerly a production designer at Wray Ward, as assistant video content developer.

“Video is a tremendous storytelling tool, and our staff is always finding fresh ways to tell brands’ stories,” said Jennifer Appleby, president and chief creative officer of Wray Ward. “These positions will help us accomplish our clients’ marketing goals from new and unconventional angles.”

Dameron brings to his position seven years of experience in production. He previously served as a senior editor at Enventys, where he worked on two television shows, “Everyday Edisons” and “For Your Home.” His experience also includes work on various direct response television, product and corporate video projects. He has been recognized with two Telly Awards and two regional Emmy Awards.

Dameron attended Western Carolina University, where he studied motion picture production.

Glaze comes to the video content development team from Wray Ward’s creative group, where she served as a production designer. Her experience includes serving as designer and art director of an advertising campaign for the Mint Hill Country Doctor’s Museum, which won four gold ADDY awards and a Judge’s Choice Award. Using her background in graphic design, Glaze will expand the video team’s graphic capabilities including increased animation, kinetic typography and other types of motion graphics.

Glaze graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in visual communications and a focus in graphic design. She won Winthrop’s Best Senior Portfolio award as well as a Charlotte Student ADDY award.
