Operators Seeking Out State-of-the-Art Solutions
07/25/2011
Wastequip, a national leader in waste handling and recycling solutions, has launched a distinctive new print advertising campaign that uses graphic images to focus on core challenges and solutions for the industry today.
"Waste management and recycling companies manage complex business models that require sophisticated, state-of-the art solutions,” said Shawn King, vice president of marketing for Wastequip. "The new ad campaign zeros in on some of these challenges and highlights the ways in which our company is addressing these needs.”
The durability of roll-out carts is highlighted in an ad featuring Toter® carts from Wastequip, while another ad emphasizes environmental responsibilities associated with the handling of hazardous liquid wastes. Another ad in the series discusses how compactor longevity can be extended with electronic controls, while another ad focuses on the issue of highway safety for loaded container handlers.
"Wastequip products help customers run their businesses safely and more effectively,” King said. "Designing products that help customers solve their waste and material handling needs, while delivering a low total cost of ownership, is central to our product development philosophy.”
The new print ads, which were designed by Charlotte, N.C. agency Wray Ward, will run throughout the year. The creative direction was to break-out from typical trade ads that feature static product photos and technical specs.
"As the leader in the industry, we wanted Wastequip to also stand out with in its marketing communications,” said Jennifer Appleby, chief creative officer at Wray Ward. "Through our close collaboration with Wastequip, we not only identified the essential needs of the industry, but found compelling ways to distill these messages through colorful graphics and straightforward copy.”
