Wray Ward Wins Six ADDY Awards in Annual Competition

Wray Ward, one of the Southeast's leading independent creative marketing communications firms, took home six awards this week at the 2011 Charlotte ADDY Awards, receiving honors for creative work in broadcast television, print advertising, and collateral materials.

The Charlotte ADDY awards, presented by the Charlotte Ad Club, recognize the most outstanding creative work designed by agencies and individuals in the Charlotte region.

Wray Ward won a Gold ADDY in the Consumer/Trade Campaign category for a WIX Filters' print advertising campaign promoting WIX's grassroots motorsports promotion 100 Nights of Racing; the series includes "Daily Allowance,” "Dirt In Your Hair” and "Pressure Washer.” Wray Ward also won two Gold ADDYs for National TV sports — "Fans” and "Family” — for the recently-opened NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Two Silver ADDYs were also awarded to Wray Ward for Discovery Place marketing materials promoting the science museum's new exhibition halls after its $31.6 million renovation; Wray Ward took home a Silver ADDY in the Public Service, TV category for the television spot "A Great Day for Discovery” as well as a Silver in the  Public Service, Campaign category for campaign materials "Rocket,” "Molecule” and "Balloon.” In addition, Wray Ward's Innovation Institute Brochure won a Silver ADDY for Collateral Material in the Brochure, Color category, for a brochure promoting the professional/personal development endeavor that helps business leaders incorporate innovation and creativity into their business thinking.
