Wray Ward, one of the Southeast's leading independent creative marketing communications firms, has re-branded ProMat, the international trade show managed by Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA), with a new logo, Web site design, collateral and direct marketing materials.
"ProMat is an exceptional event for MHIA members and show attendees to come together and see what's new in our industry and network with their peers. Wray Ward has created a new look and feel for our brand that reflects the leadership and global reach of our trade show,” said Carol Miller, vice president of marketing and communications for MHIA, the largest non-profit trade association in the U.S. for the material handling and logistics solutions industry.
"Our new Web site and collateral are the first step in helping ProMat exhibitors get organized to connect with their customers at ProMat, and we're excited to welcome registrants with our clean, fresh look and comprehensive communications materials,” she said.
Wray Ward designed the new logo to give a forward-thinking look for ProMat 2011, the organization's biennial trade show. The direct marketing materials were created to target potential attendees and drive attendance, and the new Web site — www.promatshow.com — and collateral were designed by Wray Ward to help exhibitors and attendees organize and coordinate efforts for the association's trade show, which attracts tens of thousands of attendees from more than 100 countries.
"We wanted to create a crisp, clean, modern visual to distill what they do into a single mark,” said John Roberts, creative director with Wray Ward, based in Charlotte, N.C. "We used contemporary typography, colors that were fresh, and the arrows give a global feel even though the containing shape is a box. The look and feel of the logo was applied to the Web site and communications pieces to take the new contemporary look across the brand.”
Held at Chicago's McCormick Place in March 2011, ProMat's 300,000-square-foot show floor will feature premier manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, assembly, logistics and IT solutions for the supply chain.
