Wray Ward Announces Director of Digital Services, Expands Public Relations Department

Wray Ward, one of the Southeast's leading independent creative marketing communications firms, has promoted Bill Baker to director of digital services and hired Meghan Musgrave as public relations account manager.

In his new role as director of digital services, Baker will lead and manage the creation, development and execution of all Wray Ward's digital service offerings to evolve the agency's digital capabilities and offerings.

"Digital marketing is an important medium that is rapidly growing and ever-changing, and we created this new position to ensure we remain innovative, effective and poised to embrace each new digital opportunity,” said Jennifer Appleby, president and chief creative officer for Wray Ward. "We are guiding our staff in the strategic development and delivery of digital training, while staying informed of the latest multi-media and digital trends, products and services to best serve our clients."

A Kansas native, Baker joined Wray Ward 10 years ago and has helped guide the agency in its online marketing evolution. Most recently interactive services supervisor, Baker has played a key role in nearly every major interactive project the agency has launched. Baker earned his bachelor's degree in fine arts with a double major in graphic design and illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Musgrave comes to Wray Ward from Loeffler Ketchum Mountjoy in Charlotte, N.C., where she worked on accounts including The North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development and EUE/Screen Gem Studios.

At Wray Ward, she is working with Charlotte School of Law, Citizens South Bank and Sakrete. A native of Dayton, Ohio, she graduate from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in strategic communications and then earned her master's degree in public relations from the University of Akron. Her experience in using traditional and social media bring added value to the agency's 10-person public relations team.
