Wray Ward, one of the southeast's leading independent creative marketing communications firms, has hired Aldo Muccia as account director.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Muccia resided most of his life in Los Angeles, where he started his career as an art director, then moved to GREY Advertising on the account executive side. He also was responsible for launching and heading the online/interactive department at Kaiser Marketing, also in Los Angeles, before moving to the east coast; in recent years, he has worked with agencies in Miami and North Carolina, including Charlotte's Luquire George Andrews and Corder Phillips.
Muccia has worked with national brands such as Nike, Supercuts and American Honda, as well as smaller startups and online ventures. At Wray Ward, Muccia will lead marketing communications initiatives for Glen Raven and its Sunbrella performance fabrics brand.
Muccia attended California State University, Long Beach, earning a Bachelor of Science in business communications with an emphasis in marketing and advertising. Additionally, he is tri-lingual and played semi-pro soccer.
